Richard owned the old smokehouse at Brougham for many years and in that time he won 14 Great Taste Gold Awards for his smoked foods ,some of these products are used in the locally sourced platters at Ashbank .

Local food features very highly on the menu, we also have a kitchen garden from which guests enjoy the very best of our home grown crop. some of the local food producers we use at Ashbank have won Great Taste Gold Awards for thier produce .

Home made soup with home baked bread

Wild mushroom tart served with dressed salad leaves

Poached salmon with hollandise sauce

Roasted lemon chicken

(both served with vegetables and a potato dish)

Sticky toffee pudding

Cheese plate and biscuits

Guests are invited to bring their own wine to accompany their meal.

Packed lunches

If your planning an adventure , you'll need something filling for lunch on the hoof.
We are happy to prepare a packed lunch for you to take out for the day . our packed lunch consists of a home made deep filled sandwich with a selection of fillings to choose from, fruit juice, a piece of fruit, chocolate and crisps.
